OUR PHILOSOPHY

The model set within the NT by Jesus was to start his ministry in his own hometown. That means, that first and foremost, we desire to reach the people of Grandville. We find in Mark chapter 6 that Jesus entered the synagogue in Nazareth and began to teach from Isaiah chapter 61. We believe that we must be faithful and responsible with God’s church locally prior to traveling across the world. We know that without a shadow of a doubt, there are people everywhere in our own home town in need of the redemptive power of Christ.

OUR MISSION

In Matthew 28 Jesus left his disciples with specific instructions on how to carry out his ministry here on the earth. Jesus said GO and make disciples of all nations!!! We are a ready, set, go, type of church; a church filled with people whose minds are fixed on crossing American borders with the specific purpose of ministering to people in other countries. We currently take regular mission trips to Vietnam, China, and Mexico. Our constant contact with the people we work with in each of these countries is crucial to us. In keeping with the prayer of Jabez in 1 Chronicles 4:10, we believe that God will continue to expand our relational and geographic territory.

WHAT WE DO

God’s desire is for us to engage our culture and to engage the world we live in. The reality of the gospel in our lives spurs us into action, we have something worth sharing. Our call to multiplication is no longer singularly focused on having offspring; it is focused on making disciples. We believe that true disciples make disciples.
